The experience of moving to the Bennett Spring area has been a great
adventure for Rick and me. We have made many new friends and, after only a
few short years, we feel a connection to the Spring that will always be a
part of us. Rick and I were married in February 2012 on the edge of the
stream with a few close friends and members of our families present. It
was a cloudy, cool day. We built some fires and drank hot chocolate and
coffee with the wedding cake. To me, it was just perfect.
It seems
every day there is a new magic about this place, from the daily wildlife
sightings to the ever changing weather. We are still working hard on
improving the store and the campground. When we bought the Campground, we
knew there was quite a bit of work to be done. Our plan was for a seven
year improvement project which was to be done as we had the time and
money. We are going into our sixth year. Last year we built a new pool for
our residents to replace the one that had outlived its usefulness. We have
also added a small playground and basketball court as well as four
additional cabins. In the store there is an expanded fly tying area and we
are happy to help you with special requests when we can. This spring we
also have added an on line store
(weaverstackle.com) with over 11,000 items and counting.
Rick
and I are very pleased that our son, Eric, and his fiancé, Chelsea, have
moved here to help us with the store and campground. They are enjoying the
area as much as we do and are fishing every chance they get.
Rick
and I would like to thank you all for the support and friendship you have
extended to us these past few years and we hope to be a part of your lives
for many more.
